Where it all began…
My story
If you’d told me years ago that I’d be running my own business, I probably would’ve laughed and asked if you were serious.
After countless college changes and trial-and-error, I finally realized the traditional path just wasn’t my thing. I wanted something more… a way to make a real impact.
When I discovered my love for design and strategy, it all clicked… I could help others bring their boldest ideas to life and create brands that make them feel unstoppable.
I know what it’s like to feel invisible online. To have amazing expertise but a website that doesn’t show it. To second-guess yourself every time you share your link.
I’ve been there… And I built Spark & Soul Design Studio to make sure no one ever has to feel that way again.

2012: The Beginning
Pregnant with my third kid and desperate to work from home, I stumbled into freelancing on oDesk (now Upwork). I had no idea what I was doing, but I knew the traditional 9-5 wasn’t going to work for me.

2014: Going ALL In
I got tired of waiting for clients to find me on someone else’s platform, so I launched my own Virtual Assistant business. I dove headfirst into learning everything I could about systems, websites, and marketing… even though I had no clue what I was actually building yet.

2015: The Pivot
I thought getting certified as an Online Business Manager would be the answer. Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. Managing other people’s businesses? Not my thing. But designing them? Creating the visuals and strategy that made them work? That lit me up.

2018: Finding MY Thing
I officially rebranded as a web designer and launched Vivid Pixel Studio. Finally, I could focus on what I actually loved… helping women create online presences that felt purposeful and looked incredible.

2024: Finally Feeling Like ME
Vivid Pixel Studio never felt right. It sounded professional and polished… but it wasn’t me. I was pretending to fit into what I thought a “legit designer” should look like. So I rebranded to Spark & Soul Design Studio… a name that actually reflects my energy and my mission: helping service-based entrepreneurs create brands that feel unmistakably them.
